Paul C. Kerr, DO, FACS, FCCP, is a well-versed cardiothoracic surgeon who diagnoses and treats patients at the William Jennings Bryan Dorn Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina, where he serves as Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). The William Jennings Bryan Dorn Veterans Affairs Medical Center is a level 1C teaching hospital, providing a full range of patient care services, with state-of-the-art technology, education, and research. As a cardiothoracic surgeon, he specializes in surgical procedures inside the thorax, which may involve the heart, lungs, esophagus, and other organs in the chest.
